Flouro and Pastels Spring 2012

Pastel green was the colour of the night

Pieces of fabric for making DIY screens

Little gift tags for the tea towels.
This poem is inspired by the fact that no one wants to use
their lovely tea towels...they just want to look at them???

Love the simplicity of polkadots!!

The stencils worked a treat.

I love to see the designs that everyone comes up with.

I might have to copy this one.
Grey and yellow never seem to get old.

Wooden Palette into Kids Jet Plane

This past weekend we had a wooden palette we needed to get rid of. Zach had the idea to build a plane out of it, so we thought we would give it a go.

We had to design it with two seats....of course.

Here is Zach sitting proudly on the back seat.

...then doing a bit of sanding.

Kayla thought it was the "most fun ever" to paint it grey.

We found some cool stickers and electrical tape to decorate with.

We even made little detachable rockets.....

it is all in the detail  ;-)

Here Zach is doing a final check over to see if we need any more stripes.
It took a lot of convincing that "less is more"!!

The kids were trilled with the end product and they had a blast creating it.
It was so fun.
